Last night I ate at Bar Louie for dinner. Started things out with a cocktail; a dirty CEO martini:
Despite my attempts to "diet," or at least eat fewer junk foods, the huz couldn’t resist ordering a half-off happy hour app – spinach and artichoke dip, so naturally I had a few several.
Hey, there’s spinach in there. I need my iron.
To round out the meal, I ordered a Grilled Veggie Wrap, which was filled with roasted red pepper, spinach, roasted carrot, avocado, zucchini, hummus, goat cheese, and a pesto mayo. Delish!! This was actually really the first time I’ve eaten goat cheese, at least in a substantial portion. It is rich! And creamy. Quite luscious. And a surprisingly bold flavor. Loved this whole thing! I had half of this guy, and about half the fries, and the other half of the wrap made an excellent lunch today. Success! After dinner, we headed off to the Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase for a few laughs and vino. Quite the Wednesday evening.
