I haven’t really talked about it in this blog, but for the last month I have been counting calories daily and weighing myself (at the same time, I know it naturally fluctuates each day!) each day and keeping track of this information. In the last 4 weeks that I have been keeping track of this information, as of today I am happy announce that I have lost:
I would never ever be able to follow and stick with a restrictive “diet,” (because I like to eat too much!) so my plan has been that I can eat whatever I want, but I aim to consume a target number of calories (1500-1600) each day. I haven’t been eating all that much less than I used to, but instead trying to eat healthier, lower calorie food more often, and also have been consuming less meat. I’ve also, at least for the most part, given up nighttime snacking (except for the occasional Skinny Cow), since I found that is when I tend to consume a lot of junk calories. I also usually give myself one day of leeway on the weekend to indulge a bit. This is definitely a plan I could stick with. I know I’ve actually lost a bit more than this, since I’ve been trying to eat healthier the last few months, but I didn’t start consistently weighing myself until the beginning of May.
