Thursday morning I survived on a banana and iced coffee, as I do most days. After commuting from Bethesda to Baltimore, I grabbed a soft pretzel at the airport. Mmm, I haven’t had Auntie Anne’s in a few years.
After landing in Detroit, I commuted back to Ann Arbor, and grabbed some Dibella’s on the way home. I’m on a Dibella’s kick lately! Note to self: don’t ever skip mayo on your sub again!
Friday at work I was running around like a crazy person all day. Unwinding with a pint, er well, I guess a snifter, of Oro de Calabaza at Jolly Pumpkin was much needed.
Next we took advantage of the beautiful weather and strolled over to Raja Rani for dinner outdoors on their patio.
Daal to start.
My entrée came with salad.
I ordered Paneer Tikka Masala with a side of Masala Naan, and received a generous portion of basmati rice with my dinner.
Check dis. Mouth watering? My Paneer Tikka was awesome! I ordered it “hot” and the heat level was good – even hotter would have been acceptable as well. Yum yum in the tum.
The huz ordered the non-vegetarian dinner combo, which comes with a Samosa, Daal, Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Curry, Navrattan Korma, rice, raita, salad, and dessert (rice pudding)! Not a bad deal.
And…you know it. Iorio’s Gelato for dessert. Got some pretty awesome flavors this time:
- Tuxedo (dark chocolate with white chocolate)
- Red Chai Latte
- Mint Stracciatella
Hooray for Fridays.
