Fortunately this week’s trip was much smaller, and $20 under-budget, since last week was way over-budget!
This past week I signed up for Meijer’s mPerks program, which involves electronically “clipped” coupons selected by you, within your account. At the checkout, you type in your phone number and PIN and your coupons are automatically deducted. I did manage to save $2.50 this week using MPerks.

How do the $1 burgers at Bar Louie work? Are you limited to one? I’m assuming toppings and such cost extra?
I’m not aware of a limit, and usually get two and are charged $1 each for them. You can choose from beef, chicken, turkey, or portobello mushroom. Toppings DO cost extra, quite a bit extra actually, so I usually limit it to one or two toppings, and load up on (free!) ketchup.
