Oh yes I did.
Large pizza. Nine toppings.
It was the second to last day to use my coupon for a $9.99 large 9-topping pizza at Papa Romano’s and you bet your bottom dollar that I took advantage. Heck yes. Best enjoyed while watching Michigan pulverize Notre Dame’s football team. Bahahaa.
The line-up:
- bacon
- pepperoni
- onion
- green pepper
- tomato
- pineapple
- green olives
- mushrooms
- half: banana peppers (for me) / half: sausage (for T.)
As if I hadn’t had enough sodium for one day, T and I went to BDub’s for noms and brewskis later that evening. Stuck with my trusty Asian Zing boneless wings, with ranch. Holla.
After that it was time to bust a move on the dance floor.
That’s right.
Clearly I am a professional.
Phew. Fun times.
Nick’s Original House of Pancakes
Sunday brunch demanded something of the greasy sort, and Nick’s Original House of Pancakes, around the corner from our house, fit the bill. I planned to order an omelet, but the thought of sausage gravy tempted me away, and instead I ordered a West Virginian skillet, consisting of layers of hash browns, onion, green pepper, ‘shroomies, melty American cheese, SAUSAGE GRAVY, and topped with eggs, served with a side of buttery rye toast, slathered in grape jelly. I ate about half of this feast, and brought the other half home for dinner tonight (along with one leftover piece of yesterday’s pizza).
T continued the weekend of gluttony by ordering the Fried Chicken Waffle – this whole plate was eventually doused with maple syrup. Yup.
Nick’s generally has a nice selection of breakfast foods from which one can choose – something for everyone. Lots of pancakes and waffles for sweet breakfast-lovers, and an interesting selection of skillets and omelets for those savory breakfast-lovers, like myself.
Tomorrow I will get getting back on track with my healthier eating habits, for sure!
