A quick post after an fall dinner. Dinner:
Butternut squash. Brushed with EVOO, sprinkled with salt, pepper, and brown sugar. Baked at 400 for 15 minutes, then reduced the oven to 350 and baked for 40 more minutes, or so. I ❤ butternut squash.
Turkey tenderloins. Sprinkled with salt, pepper, dried sage, and dried thyme. Placed a few splashes of vegetable stock on the bottom of the pan before baking at 350 for about 45 minutes. They got a little overcooked but were tasty. I didn’t really know what I was doing, as I’ve never cooked these before, but it worked out.
Green beans – steamed for about 5-6 minutes, then tossed with melted margarine, reduced-sodium soy sauce, and toasted sesame seeds.
