Happy Memorial Day! What a gorgeous day here in Michigan.
I got my new hummingbird feeder set up today. Now just waiting for the hummers to find it.
A beer was a must. Sitting on the deck in 90 degree heat with steaks on the grill? Mandatory. I loved this lemony beer.
Earlier in the day I prepared one of our favorite summer side dishes: Dilled Potato Salad – cooked redskins tossed in olive oil, S&P, lemon juice, chopped dill, and feta cheese, and chilled.
I [awkwardly!] skewered organic Michigan asparagus, brushed with olive oil, and seasoned with Salish (Alder-smoked sea salt I bought in San Fran), black pepper, and Old Bay, and the huz grilled it.
…Plus steak for the PERFECT summer meal!
