You may remember, last week, I tried cooking with Turkey Kielbasa for the first time. Well it was so good that I decided to try another recipe using it. This time I made a soup:
Kielbasa Bean Soup
Recipe from Taste of Home
So many veggies in this soup! Two onions, two green peppers, one zucchini, and two stalks of celery.
Seasonings: chili powder, dried basil, chicken bouillon, bay leaves, garlic, S&P.
Canned diced tomatoes and three kinds of canned beans: garbanzo, kidney, and white northern.
I let the bean and veggie mixture simmer for an hour, before adding sliced turkey kielbasa. I served the soup with a couple slices of Great Harvest Asiago Pesto Bread. This soup was only okay the first day (maybe a 6.5 out of 10), and I didn’t like it the second day.
I highly recommend last week’s kielbasa recipe over this one: Kielbasa & Kidney Beans!
My next post will be a much better recipe, I promise!
