You know what I love in the summer? BLTs! Ripe summer tomatoes are just the best! And to think that I used to dislike tomatoes… crazy. So tonight I made BLT wraps by piling up romaine lettuce, tomato wedges, sliced avocado, a drizzle of light Ranch dressing, and three slices of bacon. On the side I served roasted potatoes from my CSA. These wraps were super easy and tasty.
60 Calorie Tortillas
Check out these 60 calorie tortillas I found. That is a WIN, my friends. I used to buy Meijer brand wheat tortillas and they have 170 calories each! These were just as tasty, if not better, than the Meijer brand, despite the reduced number of calories. The only downside is that they were a bit pricy. These weren’t quite as good as my beloved Flatout wraps however.
But if you’re in search of low-calorie flour tortillas, I highly recommend these!
Because, let’s be honest. Low calorie tortillas = I can have extra bacon! Clearly I have my priorities straight here.
Another recent low-calorie find: Trader Joe’s Queso Cheese dip. I have not yet tried this dip, but it somehow claims to be only 15 calories per serving (2 Tablespoons). I don’t know how! I am highly intrigued. Will keep you posted.
Another Trader Joe’s find. Dried, chewy apple rings. Mmm. One ingredient!: Apples! Yumtastic.
Speaking of yumtastic, I am OBSESSED with these crackers. I am on my third box in three weeks. Someone please stage a Cracker Intervention.
Did a two-miler with Garmin tonight. Wasn’t quite so hot outside, so it was a good run!
