Hey guys, I just thought I’d pop in to share a really great minestrone recipe I tried this past week. Looks good, amirite?:
This soup is pretty painless to make, though it does involve chopping a few veggies. The flavorful ingredient in this soup was Hot Italian Turkey Sausage, a favorite ingredient of mine. I substituted the turkey version for the bulk pork Italian sausage to save some calories. Canned fire-roasted diced tomatoes added a smoky element, while white beans and ditalini pasta added interesting texture.
I really recommend this soup recipe if you’re looking for a minestrone with a bit of a twist on the original, with the bold and flavorful addition of Hot Italian Turkey Sausage. It is very hearty and satisfying. The recipe can be found over at, you guessed it: Taste of Home.
Italian Sausage Minestrone Rating: 9/10
