Easter Brunch & Easter Kitty

Easter weekend.

Brunch at the Cottage Inn Restaurant. We had Easter brunch here a couple years ago with my fam and enjoyed it.

This year we were seated by the ceiling grapes!

Huge variety of food! Everything was hot, fresh, and homemade. I was really impressed. So yummy!

Plate one: Bacon, breakfast egg casserole, biscuit ‘n’ gravy, mac and cheese, Florentine ravioli, caprese salad, and hunk o’ cheese.P1070582

Plate two: Bananas Foster French Toast (!!), caprese, tuna, fruit, seafood linguine, ravioli, bacon, and the best thing of the day: ham!

There were two gorgeous dessert tables, adorned in Easter lilies, pastel colored candies, and lots of cakes and bars. Oh my!

The huz and I each selected a plate of desserts, cut everything in half, and shared, so we could try more. Here are my halves of a lemon bar, cherry almond bar, blueberry coffee cake, and the most a-mayyy-zing chocolate peanut butter bar ever. Bonus bite: chocolate cake truffle – how cute!

It was soooo windy out this morning, I had to hang onto my [imaginary] Easter bonnet. Pretty spring flowers…

…caused a mandated photo opp. It was just so pretty and sunny out this morning, it made me happy. Freaky shadow faces:

Many, many hours later, our tummies had some room in them again, so it was dinner time. I made Garlic Roasted Salmon & Brussels Sprouts with leftover Dilled Potato Salad.

Funnily, just like Kath, we too had an Easter Kitty visitor today, after dinner.

Poor kitty wanted to come inside and kept bumping his noggin’ against the glass sliding door. Sorry pal.

Hope you had a lovely Easter as well!
