Hey y’all. Thought I’d pop in on this hot Saturday afternoon to share a recipe for a soup I made earlier this week (when it wasn’t quite so hot out!). Inspired by the cabbage rolls and golombki I’ve eaten lately, I thought this recipe for Beef & Cabbage Soup from Taste of Home looked like it was worth a try.
Seasonings included basil, marjoram, thyme, salt, and pepper, which went into a pot of kidney beans, ground beef, chopped cabbage, beef broth, onion, and crushed tomatoes.
Simmer for 30 minutes, and dinner is served. I made this soup the night before we planned to eat it, and it was great the next day.
Beef & Cabbage Soup: a winner!
