Last Week: Dinner Meal Plan for Week of August 18 – August 24:
- Saturday 8/18: Out
My evening plans fell through, but I still had a nice night. With the huz out on a “Man Date” with his bros for the evening, I ended up staying in and indulging in some wonderful “me” time, which included the Golden Arches and the Sex and the City DVD. Yeah yeah. This meal happened before I wrote this post about no-more-McD’s, so now I am done.
- Sunday 8/19: All-American Chili, Salad
- Monday 8/20: Wing it – I went to Sidetrack with the huz and friends.
- Tuesday 8/21: Chili Leftovers were the plan, but I instead had the leftovers for lunches, and spent Tuesday evening at Dominick’s with friends.

Wednesday 8/22: Pork Chops with Roasted Apples and Onions
- Thursday 8/23: Pimiento Cheese BLTs
1. Homemade pimiento cheese on toasted sourdough:
2. Add tomato slices, lettuce, and bacon. Yum!
- Friday 8/24: Out. We picked up a “Satchel of Satchel’s” for dinner: one pound of pulled pork, mac and cheese, beans and rice, and cornbread. The pulled pork was INCREDIBLE this time! Actually the whole meal tasted amazing. I swear, their food gets better and better every time we return. Next time I will probably go back to the baked beans instead of the beans and rice, though. We need to do this for dinner more often. A satchel of Satchel’s for two is enough for us both to have a large dinner AND a big lunch the next day. And we have big appetites!

- Frozen Indian entrees (2)

Already looking forward to the upcoming three day weekend. Is that bad!?
